Hello everyone, I’ve decided to follow suit of Symms, Grete, Digi, Henrik, etc. and start a blog. You’ll probably want to check it often, since I’m super cool and get to travel a lot of places (unless I don’t get a new passport). I guess I’ll write about our Freeskier ski test/Valentines day. Usually I try and plan my valentines day around when I’m out of the country, and can really avoid it. But this year, alas, I’m in the states, so therefore, I might as well embrace the annual holiday with full force. This year, I had an awesome valentine, to keep her incognito, I won’t use her full name, but will rather call her… GE. Oh, and to keep in line with current green and environmentally friendly trends, we exchanged digital flowers (ps, I still owe her real ones).

After skiing at Solitude, GE and I drove down, met up with some of her SLC friends, went to see ‘Step Up 2: The Streets‘. Now let me tell you something about this movie. As an avid movie-goer and friend to dance aficionado Michael Olenick, I was thoroughly entertained by the flick. Blown away by it’s cinematic expression and visual subtlety? Not as much. But as GE is saying, “If the 410 doesn’t want us in here, we’ll be outside where the streets started!”All-in-all, I had a wonderful night and the next day in Utah (By the way, it was the best powder day in 30 years in CO that day, or so I’m told). to quote one of GE’s top movies to sum up Valentines day, “For all of time, they will say, our love brought down a kingdom.”
